HI, I'M Michelle.

An actress, singer and storyteller-NYC trained, now based in Buffalo, bringing second act sparkle, heart and humor to every role I play

Michelle is a passionate, multi-hyphenate actor, photographer, and creative with a deep love for storytelling, on both sides of the camera. With a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University at Buffalo and over 25 years in the entertainment industry, she brings a unique perspective to every project, blending creativity, performance experience, and artistic direction.

Before stepping into the world of photography and makeup, Michelle spent years performing in national and regional theatre productions and appearing in national and regional commercials, where she developed her skills in acting, singing, and dance. Her musical theatre roots inspire the way she captures movement, expression, and connection, in front of the camera and behind it.
Having transitioned into on-camera work, Michelle understands what it takes to create grounded, expressive performances for film and television, and she brings that same understanding into her photography. Whether she’s coaching a client through a headshot session or delivering a performance herself, she’s attuned to the emotional truth behind each moment.

She is currently focused on securing roles in TV, film, and commercials, especially romantic comedies, dramedies, and musical theatre for television. Michelle thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about helping others shine, whether through storytelling, visual branding, or behind-the-scenes support.

All headshots and scenes were written, self-produced, and creatively
directed by Michelle Sperazz.
Two scenes were filmed and lightly
co-directed in collaboration with cinematographer Jason Jurewicz, who also assisted with final reel assembly.

The Heart Behind The Work

My why

I stepped away from the stage, not because I stopped being an artist, but because life called me into other roles.

Mother. Healer. Witness. Guide.

I’ve been raising my family while learning other sides of the business, photography, makeup, branding. I worked behind the scenes with performers, creatives, and production teams, discovering new ways to tell stories and connect. What I didn’t realize then was that everything I was learning was quietly preparing me for this next chapter.

My time as a performer wasn’t behind me, it was grooming me for something more.

A path where I could bring all of my talents and experience together. A space where I could help others rise, while rising myself.

I guided other artists toward their light, toward growth, confidence, and the next chapter of their journey. And somewhere along the way, I started to find mine again. The music never left me. My voice just rested.

My father, who loved jazz, who danced and sang with me to the rhythm of old songs, never stopped reminding me to keep singing and dancing. Even when I forgot, he didn’t. He saw the part of me that was made of melody and movement.
And now, I feel him in everything I do.

In every note I sing, in every step I take, he’s there. This return is mine… but it’s also his. I carry him with me, always.

I return not as the girl who once performed, but as the woman who is still living.

Still raising. Still growing. Still rising, with a fuller voice, deeper roots, and a story worth telling.

For those who’ve stepped away. For those who’ve forgotten. May my return be permission to rise again.

My Experience

I hold a BFA in musical theatre from the University at Buffalo. In addition I am a certified makeup artist from the Makeup Designory School in NYC where I had the opportunity to work and train with celebrity makeup artist, Eve Pearl. To further enhance my skills, I have also received training from the Peter Hurley Headshot Crew and Vanie Poyey Photography, ensuring I stay up to date with the trends of the NY and LA markets. My experience includes working on major TV networks for shows such as, The Today Show, Restaurant Impossible, Man V. Food, Food Wars, Confessions of a Matchmaker, and Long Island Serial Killer. My work has been published in various publications and have built a diverse clientele throughout the years.
