The Heart Behind The Work
My why
I stepped away from the stage, not because I stopped being an artist, but because life called me into other roles.
Mother. Healer. Witness. Guide.
I’ve been raising my family while learning other sides of the business, photography, makeup, branding. I worked behind the scenes with performers, creatives, and production teams, discovering new ways to tell stories and connect. What I didn’t realize then was that everything I was learning was quietly preparing me for this next chapter.
My time as a performer wasn’t behind me, it was grooming me for something more.
A path where I could bring all of my talents and experience together. A space where I could help others rise, while rising myself.
I guided other artists toward their light, toward growth, confidence, and the next chapter of their journey. And somewhere along the way, I started to find mine again. The music never left me. My voice just rested.
My father, who loved jazz, who danced and sang with me to the rhythm of old songs, never stopped reminding me to keep singing and dancing. Even when I forgot, he didn’t. He saw the part of me that was made of melody and movement.
And now, I feel him in everything I do.
In every note I sing, in every step I take, he’s there. This return is mine… but it’s also his. I carry him with me, always.
I return not as the girl who once performed, but as the woman who is still living.
Still raising. Still growing. Still rising, with a fuller voice, deeper roots, and a story worth telling.
For those who’ve stepped away. For those who’ve forgotten. May my return be permission to rise again.
